Inside Hogwarts
|
 |
The Entrance
A nice space with flagstone floors and a tall ceiling. A large pair of wooden doors leads into the Great Hall, and another pair out to the grounds. You can follow the Entrance Hall to the Staircases. Don't loiter or you may fall victim to Peeves or Filch.

The Broom Closet
A small wooden door off the Entrance Hall leads into a cramped, dusty little closet with a broom, bucket and shelves. Watch out, this tiny space is a home to spiders and their webs, you naughty students you.

The Staff Room
Ever wonder what Snape and McGonagall do behind closed doors? This is a cozy room with a fire place and couches for the weary professors and other Hogwarts staff to rest and meet. No students allowed. So I guess you'll never know.

Third Floor Corridor
Although now empty, it's still dimly lit with flickering candles and eerie. Students still aren't allowed within this corridor, but it's rumored that many attempt to sneak up here at night. Not very wise.

The Kitchens
Although the house elves would rather not be bothered, a few may be forgiving if you show up looking for a little snack between meals. Just tickle the pear and be on your best behavior. It's in your best interest not to make any of the house elves angry with you.

The Great Hall
An expansive dining hall with tables for each of the four houses, and a teacher's table in the front of the room. Floating candles illuminate the hall and the ceiling mirrors the sky outside. Although many students are often drawn to the greenhouse for it's many exotic plants housed within it's humid glass walls, it's quite safe to say many are just there for what goes on behind it. If you go inside, stay on your guard. Some of these plants are known to have quite an appetite.

Craigeivar Estates
A narrow and dark side street leads into an open courtyard of Craigeivar Estates. This was once a lovely complex of 35 townhouses arranged in a circle, with a fountain and tall, thriving trees in the center. Craigeivar is now nothing more than old, dirty brick buildings overgrown with ivy. The trees are nothing more but ghostly skeletons and the fountain hasn't worked in many years. Although the estates appear to be abandoned, no one goes near them -the rumour of Death Eaters using the estates as a meeting place scares them off.
