Name: Hayden Lee Harthrow
Nickname: Addy
Age: 16
Birthday: February 21
Year: Sixth
House: Gryffindor
Blood: Pure
Birth Place: Madrid, Spain

Appearance:
If ever there was a girl with wonderfully blue eyes, the palest of pale skin and hair darker than the hearts of Death Eaters, she would be Addy. Addy is sex on legs. Very long and shapely legs, that would kick the hell out of the ass that ever tried to sex her.

She has a long, round face, with high cheek bones, and a strong jaw, but she hardly looks mannish in her appearance. Wavy hair so black, it looks blue, frames her pretty face, and falls over her shoulders and down her back. Her hair shimmers in an almost water like quality, rippling around her shoulders when she walks.

Shapely black eyebrows sit atop the most intense electric blue eyes. Addy's gaze is always blazing, always so demanding and intimidating, that people often avoid her for this reason. Under her unnerving blue eyes, is a straight, almost pointed nose that flares out slightly at the end. If ever someone had luscious lips to kiss, they would be hers. Full and plump, they always have an almost pouty like look to them, even though Addy is anything BUT pouty.

Her pink lips stand out against her skin about as much as her eyes do, both having wonderful contrast next to her porcelain complexion. Being half Spanish and half French certainly has its disadvantages, as no matter what Hayden does, she simply will not tan. She will spend hours outside trying to tan but will only accomplish getting a sever sun burn, turning her an ugly red color that she still somehow makes look good. With all the time she spends outside, she has a healthy glow about her, but still no tan, much to her dismay.

Addy is rather short for her age, only standing at five four, and really rather disproportionate. With such long legs, one would expect her to have an equally long torso, but as it were, Miss Harthrow is all legs. Hayden's torso, although small, would hardly be considered petite, as her chest takes up most of the room. She is well endowed in this area, and hates it with a passion, as she feels this is the only reason she gets attention.

Addy is no pixie. Although with her short and small frame, the girl is hardly light. She weighs in at a scary one hundred fifty pounds, and hates it. She is very self conscious about her body image, and always calls herself fat. Most people however, would describe her body type as voluptuous. She hates these people...as she hates most everything.

Addy dresses in clothes that are comfortable for her. She is usually seen in dark colored pants that hug her frame and sit low on her wide hips, usually held up by various metal studded belts in varying colors of rustic red. Normal shirts do not usually look good on the girl, as they give her a sort of lump look, she wears button down blouses, usually the top two undone for extra room. Her tops vary in color and style, with zippers and hoods, but all have the same thing in common: dark. She has one bright yellow sweater that she wears all the time. It is her favorite sweater, and its use shows, as it is torn and faded, but the girl just can't part with it.

Personality:
Addy is quietly loud. She talks hardly at all, but when she does, her words are usually laced with anger or irritation and they carry to every person within hearing distance. She is one of the people that definitely doesn't fallow the rule "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it at all." She is, in fact quite the opposite, often saying the not so nice things aloud, while keeping the pleasant ones to herself. Her voice is sharp and slightly high pitched but only because her voice is always carrying the weight of sarcasm. In the rare moments that she isn't being sarcastically irritated, it is usually laced with French undertones, but a Spanish sultriness that makes her voice smooth as honey.

To say that Hayden has anger issues would be a complete understatement. To put it lightly, the girl is a complete and utter bitch. She is quick to anger, and doesn't take crap from anybody, opting more for using her fists rather than her brain. Not to say that the girl is a bar brawler, she is in fact, a rather clever witch, she just finds that she gets better and quicker results with her fast fists, rather than waste time outwitting someone. When angered beyond thought, (which happens surprisingly a lot) Hayden will start cursing and shouting in Spanish.

Blunt and painfully honest, Addy is the person one would talk to when they want the truth, and not what they want to hear. Even though she is easily irritated, she has a level head, and will quietly listen to both sides of a story before making a judgment. She is always objective, believing that one shouldn't jump to conclusions about anything.

She is extremely open minded, believing that you are the way you are, and if you're okay with it, then she is too. She respects and understands that there are people in the world that are different from what she is, and doesn't hold religion, or orientation or views against them. That is, until they try to push her views down her throat, in which case, Addy will come back with a vengeance. She lives, and let lives. She is not judgmental and believes that first impressions often lie.

With the few friends that she has, she is so loyal to them it isn't even funny. She would do absolutely anything for her friends, do whatever it took to complete what they called upon her to do. She stands up for them, no matter if they are present to witness it or not, and isn't afraid to back up her friends in a fight, as she would be the one encouraging it. She always wants to please her friends.

Addy is a crafty witch with many talents, and not above stealing things. Her sense of right and wrong is a more then a little skewed, and is often taking things into her own hands. If, perhaps, she saw someone stealing, she would steal from them, and give what she stole to someone else. She is not above stealing, cheating and lying, if it is for a good cause though. She would never admit it, but she is a bit of a thrill seeker. She is a silent troublemaker.

She tries to be uncaring and haughty, but fails miserably so, as she is very much an empathetic person. A fact that she hates about herself, as because she is so empathetic, she often finds herself pulled into drama that she would rather not deal with. She deals with it anyway, however, coming back to that doing anything for her friends thing.

She grew up with no distinction between boys and girls, believing that anything a boy can do, she can do ten times better and in half the time. She is extremely competitive, and gloats when she wins, which she does often. She is not a sore loser however, and accepts defeat gracefully, albeit with a scowl.

Always having to be seen as a tough girl, Addy will refuse to cry, often resulting in her face turning red and getting blotchy. In the end however, she always cries, no matter how hard she tries to stop it. Crying makes her angry, which, in turn makes her sob even more. She will start blubbering in French when she sobs like this.

She is extremely charismatic, and people are easily drawn to her, but then repelled back by her general bad attitude. She is definitely not a people person, but finds that people like her anyway. She tries to make herself as unapproachable as possible, but fails as people, (mostly boys) will randomly talk to her. This happens to her great frustration, not wanting any of the attention that people seem so intent on giving her. If she had it her way, she would slink back into the shadows and watch people, instead of them watching her.

History:
In the years before her admittance to Hogwarts, Hayden grew up with a relatively normal family life. Her parents, Henri and Elena, both wanted boys, and although raised their daughters as such, they hardly ever do 'normal' girl things, but hardly consider what they do as abnormal. Neither Hayden or Angella understands a girl's need to wear makeup, both preferring grease and oil to eyeliner and mascara.

Addy is very much a Daddy's Girl, spending much of her time with him as possible, helping out whenever she is able with his woodworking and carpentry. During these long hours that she would spend with her father, Henri would tell the girl grand tales of his childhood growing up in France. Henri was very much a trouble maker when he was a boy, and told Addy all the best ways to get away with things. Henri taught her the muggle way to do many things, teaching her that she should only ever rely on herself and her skills to get her out of a bind. With this, he taught her how to pick locks, run stealthily, gave her hints about how not to be seen, teaching her about the wonders of shadow movement and an easier way to jump fences.

With this knowledge however, he made her understand that he was not encouraging bad behavior from her, merely trying to prepare her for anything and everything that could happen to her. And since, spending so much time with her father, carving, preparing wood Addy has crafted a few wooden items herself, and usually gives them to her father, as gifts in a appreciation to his stories.

At the urging of their over protective mother, Elena, both girls were placed into martial arts when they each turned six, and have been practicing varying styles ever since. Angella, being four years older than Addy, of course, has more experience in martial arts, and, much to Addy's aggravation, flaunts this in her younger sibling's face. But, while Ella is more into its practical and spiritual use, Addy used her martial art skills to enter into tournaments, raising in rank and popularity as she continued to place at each event she attended, and in turn, flaunted that in her older sister's face. Both have black belts in several styles, ranging from between Kung Fu, to Muay Thai and Ju Jitsu.

Addy and Ella are very competitive with each other, and each other only. Both feel that the other is their parents favorite, as Addy spends so much time with their father, and Ella spends so much time with their mother. Addy feels the constant need to gain her mother's approval, and strives to be everything that she thinks her mother sees in Ella, and Ella does the same with their father. Angella somehow inherited Elena's wonderful Spanish cooking skills, and are often found in the kitchen, talking about Elena's childhood in Spain, much in the same way that Addy and Henri do. Neither daughter, however, no matter how hard they try, can seem to connect with the other parent as well as the other, but are often trying to gain the approval.

When the letter from Hogwarts came for Ella, Addy found herself immensely jealous and couldn't wait to show her sister up by being the better of the two daughters, and thus started pretending that wherever she went she was at Hogwarts also. This went on for about a month, much to Elena's displeasure and Henri's amusement. Elena didn't think it was healthy for the girl to be pretending do much, but Henri saw nothing wrong with it, and even encouraged her by joining in her fantasies.

When Hayden finally did get the letter when she turned eleven, the girl was all smiles, flaunting it in her sister's face and laughing. Her mother was displeased however, with Addy's boasting and wouldn't allow her to get an owl even though Angella had. This elicited one of the worst family fights in the Harthrow household, splitting them cleanly down the middle. Henri was firm in his thoughts that since, Ella had gotten an owl, there should be no reason that Addy could not have one, while Elena and Ella maintained that it was a privilege to have an owl and Addy had lost it when she rudely bragged that she had gotten her letter.

The fight that followed was of epic proportions, as Elena accused Henri of never back up her decisions, alway undermining them, while Henri maintained that she was alway making rash and unreasonable punishments for the girls. Elena and Henri fought like cats and dogs, and divorce was mentioned more than once, and Elena even went as far as to kick Henri out of the house.

During this time, Henri somehow found the time to take Addy to Diagon Alley to to get her school things, and calmly explained to the girl that Mommy and Daddy needed time apart from each other, and that it wasn't her or her sister's fault. Addy of course didn't believe her father, believing that if she had simply kept her mouth shut about getting her letter, she would have gotten her owl, and there would have been no reason for her parents to fight. She didn't tell her father this, as they gathered and bought her books from Flourish and Blotts, but instead made a silent vow that she would try her hardest to keep her mouth shut from then on. This is why Addy is made of so few words and much anger.

The separation of her parents not only lasted well into Addy's second year at Hogwarts, but also brought her and her sister closer together, and the two tried to forget what was happening back home but throwing themselves into martial arts that they so loved and were good at. Finally, during Addy's third year, her parents reconciled their differences, coming to an agreement that they would both have mutual consent about what they taught the girls, and that they would spend more time together as a family. Hayden never get her owl.

The year that the couple reconciled was also Ella's last year at Hogwarts, and she was preparing to go and further her education at a muggle university, much to Addy's jealously. After graduation however, Addy was relieved to be carving her own path through Hogwarts, finally shedding her nickname of "Angella's Little Sister", to just Hayden.

The year after her sister left, Addy's fourth year, she discovered her secret love of Transfiguration. It is easily her best and favorite subject, being able to use nonverbal spells to Transfigure things, and is now starting to learn wandless magic in the class. Her worst subject is Charms, finding them pointless, and therefore not worth her time. Who needs bubbles on a tree? Certainly not Addy. She thinks that class is worthless, but knows she needs it to become an Auror one day.

Last year, Addy went to the World Martial Arts Tournament, where she competed in Kata, Kumite and Kabudo, (forms, fighting and weapons) having to beat out other competitors as she rose higher through the brackets. She made it to the last round in fighting, competing for first place in the black belt womens division and when she side kicked her opponent, ended up breaking her ribs. This really bothered Addy, feeling horrible that she had hurt someone during a friendly competition, and let it get to her. As a result, the girl let her guard drop and her opponent scored the rest of the points, winning the competition and taking first.

Fears:
Letting the people who count on her down, worms, loud noises, bright lights.

Goals In Life:
Professional martial artist, and become and Auror.

Other:
She doesn't where makeup, believing it to be a horrible waste of time. Plus Addy simply doesn't care enough to wear any.
She is ashamed that she is related to Juliet Harthrow, and it is Addy's dearest ambition to punch the girl in her pretty little face. She hates that girl.
Addy is never caught without her black five inch knife, always on her pocket, and she knows how to use it.
She is trilingual, fluent in English, French and Spanish, and sometimes gets her languages confused, switching between the three without even noticing.
Hayden is the only left handed person in her family.
Still competes actively in muggle tournaments.
