This was bad. This was wrong. But damn, he couldn't have given anymore of a shit about it. Not that he could really care about anything besides the girl currently grinding in his lap, her hands moving up his chest and kissing him in an all too inappropriate way. Could you really blame Gabriel for blowing off his prefect rounds in favor of a more appreciated nightly activity? Not that this had been really planned out to the last detail, but the current situation drove all worry out of the Prefect's foggy mind. His own hands had found their way under her shirt, moving up her bare skin and pulling her closer against him while he pulled at her bottom lip slowly with his teeth. Prefect duty? What Prefect duty?
Reagan and Gabriel had been having a hard time trying to find at least a little bit of time to spend with each other. Both had been so busy with things of their own nature. Gabe had been booked overtime in Honeydukes on top of his Prefect duties and school academics, and when you were in over five NEWT classes, that was hard enough without having to add to it. Ray was in the same boat as he was. It was true, she did not have work or Prefect duties to worry about, but that wasn't to say she hadn't had her own shit to deal with. It was true that the old saying 'Better you than me' applied in his instance. Gabriel would gladly take his prefect duties, job and NEWT level classes over having to be the next CEO of a major magical corporation while trying to prove to everyone including your father that you could run it. Not to mention her best friends were fucking psycho and always seemed to pop up when they were both miraculously free for a time.
And so blowing off his prefect duties (let's face it... He never really did them anyway, this was just a better way to spend his time) seemed like the best idea ever. They would do what they always did when they pulled this little plan. They'd spend an hour or two together, talking, hanging out doing whatever, and then Gabriel, the upstanding and responsible Prefect would escort the irresponsible and foolish Ravenclaw girl from wherever and back to her House common room to make sure she didn't try to sneak off again. That was the plan and that had always worked out for them. They didn't use this plan much, however, because it would be very suspicious indeed if Gabriel was constantly escorting Reagan places... While they only pretended he had caught her and got her in trouble, the possibility was that she might actually get in trouble for being a 'repeat offender'. But this was one of those desperate times that called for desperate measures.
So here they were; Gabriel's hands grabbing hungrily at Ray's hips, pulling her closer to him as he kissed her. His button down school shirt was splayed open, the lapels hanging down his sides. Ray's own shirt had been been discarded long ago, so the skin on skin contact was making it very hard for Gabriel not to think about how very warm she was against his chest. God, they hadn't even said two words to each other before they somehow (no one really knows how these things happen) were tangled up in each other, Gabriel running his fingers through her hair and pulling at shirt just as she had started work on his own shirt. Gabriel couldn't even think of anything to say to her anyway, his brain completely consumed with just wanting to see her. There was no way to know that juggling all these things would be so hard... In his head it had been easy, dedicate an acceptable amount of time to each of his activities. Easier said than done, because soon he started wanting to spend more time with Ray, allowing himself to put his other responsibilities on hold. How many times had he skipped work to talk to her? How many classes was he late to so that he could see her during breaks? How many bags of a Alihotsy had he forgotten about in his dorm room because he wasn't concerned with it anymore?
That little plant, which was the source of everything that had happened between Gabriel and Reagan thus far, wasn't even a priority anymore. Usually each time they met in secret like this, it was also so Ray could pass off a small bag of Alihotsy to Gabriel before they spent the remainder of their time together doing whatever. And their activities during these times together were never this... desperate? They had at least managed to have a conversation with each other for making out for a few minutes. After that they'd both manage to get to their respective House common rooms without any problems. Today, however, it seemed that they had to make up for the time they hadn't been able to spend together for whatever reason. Damn NEWTS.
?I don't have much time,? he managed to mumble against her lips, thinking about how he should at least pretend he did some rounds tonight. He been partnered up with the Head Girl tonight and had somehow managed to slip away with an excuse that he was sure she wouldn't fully believe. It had been a flimsy lie, but he couldn't think of a solid scenario to tell Stratton other than
I heard something. I will be right back
. Before she could protest or question him further about what he had heard, Gabe dashed off down a staircase in the opposite direction, making his way to the empty Charm's classroom where he had told Ray to meet him.
And so, knowing Stratton (if only vaguely) the way he did, Jackson knew that the probability that she would go looking for him after a while was high. And he would like to make it at least look like he had done some work as a Prefect and had not, as he was doing now, felt up his girlfriend in completely inappropriate places.

Saying that Ray was distracted was the under statement of the year. Everything that should have been bothering her, from friends to responsibility was pushed aside in favor sitting in Gabe's lap and ravishing him. She rocked against him to the rhythm they had set, feeling everything at once, from hands to lips to skin, and she drank it in happily. They were so busy most of the time that this moment seemed incredibly rare. It was hard enough to have a boyfriend in your seventh year at Hogwarts, but add to that the fact that they weren't publicly dating and their time together was severely diminished. There was only so many times Ray could tell Gabe that to skip work, and there was only so many times they could be late to a class before consequences were set. Gabe being a prefect helped with sneaking out at night, but even then they had to be careful. Others were not so lenient on her as Gabe was.
Their lack of time might have explained the desperation of their current situation. Ray had canceled everything to be with Gabe tonight, including a meeting with the Dolls. They had been less then pleased, but no matter how much they prodded, she could not afford to tell them why. This was her secret, her reason for going at the beginning of each day and she did not want to sully it with their opinions and the faults they would find. Her relationship with Gabe was special enough to her that hearing the opinions she knew she would hear was enough to turn her off. Plus, she'd have to explain how she got to know him so well and that option was not a good one. She had been very good on keeping their dirty little secret a secret, even from her own father which was nerve wracking in its own way.
It might have been all the secrets that lead to this moment where Gabriel's hands were warm on her thigh, teasing her, her own hand feeling up his chest. Had she been aware enough, she would have noticed in their haste to get undressed, she had popped a few of his buttons which gleamed on the floor beneath them. They hadn't said one word, not even a measly hello, before one thing lead to another and she was firmly attached to his lap, his kisses, his hands all sending one thought to her mind: that she wanted more of this. This session was vastly different from the small one they shared in the Forbidden Forest, where she had taken her time. Everything was fast paced and it was like she couldn't get enough as she sat there. The feeling of right that she connected with their activities was overwhelming.
"I know," she managed to murmur back, before attacking his neck. Her hands moved from his chest lower, towards where she felt the evidence of their activities and stopped right at the top of his school regulated trousers, fingering it lightly before popping the button and unzipping it. It was as her hand slipped inside his pants that the door opened, though for a few moments Ray did not notice, as her back was to the door. It was the cool draft that warned her that something was wrong. Since they had began in the room, Ray had been feeling hot from their activities, from their skin contact--whatever it was, the cold draft felt weird on her naked back. Shivering, she pulled away from his lips (she had returned there sometime in the last few minutes) and looked towards the door, where a bright light shined into her eyes.
With a squeak, she tried to hide and squint through the sudden light to see who it was at the same time. Paling, she saw that it was none other then Isadora Stratton. And Ray had her hand down Gabe's pants. At once, she attempted to remove her hand and get up, but she lost balance and ended up almost falling out of his lap, if not for his quick reflexes. This was not before she grabbed onto something to hang onto and found Gabe's open shirt. As flattering as it was to think it, his shirt could not hold up her weight and it ripped in her hands as she tried to find her balance. Her hands, still looking for balance, found their way on his shoulders, but her nothing stopped her wide eyed stare at the Head Girl. She looked back at Gabe, down at herself and over at her shirt where it had been thrown in haste. "Ohmigod." She whispered with a groan, hiding her face in his shoulder. "Ohmi
god

Dora was beginning to hate Gabriel Jackson. She had nothing against him as a person, but as a Prefect, he really sucked. Every time she was paired up with him for rounds she found herself wondering how in the name of arse someone thought it would be a good idea to give him that badge. It was fortunate indeed that she had no problem playing the villain and nagging the hell out of the boy. She knew better than to expect any change in behavior from him at this point, but she couldn?t do nothing. A small part of her hoped that perhaps she might be able to browbeat him into submission, but he just didn?t seem to care. And that was an issue. Trust Slytherin to turn out the worst Prefect she?d ever dealt with.
In addition to the fact that Prefects were responsible for the safety of their fellow students, they were also responsible for making Dora look good as a team leader. Gabe was failing horribly in every sense of the word and the Head Girl was less than pleased. Just before they had started rounds for the night, she had very clearly communicated to him that if he slacked off on her watch, she was going to slice off his testicles and feed them to one of Hagrid?s pets. Boys seemed to be very protective of that particularly bit of anatomy so she was hopeful that it might have some sort of effect on his behavior. She was getting sick of his lax attitude and planned to follow through if things did not go absolutely perfectly tonight.
Being the control freak that she sometimes was, once she had finished her patrol of the first floor, she decided to see how the slacker was doing on the floor above. She traipsed through countless corridors, peeked inside classrooms, and even interrogated the few students hurrying back to their Common Rooms in time for curfew, but Gabe was nowhere to be found. Gritting her teeth, Dora began to fantasize about what exactly she would say before she inflicted the wounds. Something impressive and menacing. But first, she had to find the jerk.
Continuing her search of all the classrooms she could get to at this hour, she could feel the bile rising higher and higher in her stomach, the acid fueling the rage she had begun building up. She wasn?t aware at the time that she was finally beginning to display symptoms of acid reflux. In her mind, it was the fury she felt burning in her chest. She was going to kill him. Struggling to maintain any sense of decorum, she had begun slamming doors after finding the classrooms empty, muttering swears under her breath. It was enough to make a first year tremble.
Reaching the end of yet another corridor with no Slytherin Prefect in sight, she was actually beginning to wonder if the idiot hadn?t wandered into that corridor on the third floor nobody was supposed to walk down. Perhaps he had gotten ill or something. There was no way he could simply disappear. But if he wasn?t vomiting violently into a potted plant somewhere, she was going to murder him.
She placed her hand of the doorknob of the last classroom of a very dark and sinister corridor that she didn?t really like to go down. She always imagined there were strange things watching. Her heart began to beat slightly faster and, as she realized there were sounds coming from inside the classroom, she thought it might actually beat its way out of her chest. ?Lumos,? she whispered, lighting the tip of her wand before cautiously turning the knob and pushing the door open. There was a dark figure, misshapen and bigger than a person, and it was moving. Her breath caught in her throat as she raised her wand to find none other than Gabe and some girl in what looked to be a very passionate embrace.
All reason left Dora. The only thing left was an uncontainable rage and a desire to throw things with great force at the Prefect?s head. ?Are you serious right now?!? she roared, eyes wider than dinner plates and slightly bloodshot. If she had been aware of this fact, she would?ve been pleased with the whole effect. ?I can?t even believe you! You stupid git! Get your fucking clothes on, both of you!? It was really a wonder that she was capable of human speech at that moment, especially when she was feeling a very animal urge to rip someone?s throat out. She was fairly certain that the night could not possibly get worse, and honestly she had no idea what she was going to do with the two of them. All she knew was that they were going to be very unpopular in their respective Houses when the rest of the student body saw the hourglasses in the morning.

Before Gabriel could effectively enjoy his girlfriend's hand down his pants, before he could really appreciate how warm she was and how good she smelled and just how much he wished they had all night together to do whatever they could think of, they were interrupted. His eyes were half closed, his mind slow on the uptake that their little happy place was being invaded by someone. All he knew was that Reagan had stopped, and Gabriel was going to tear that person a new one. He didn't care if it was fucking McGee herself; he was a goddamn seventh year student, nearly top in his class for NEWTs, working two jobs and maintaining his prefect duties. Sort of. Either way, Gabriel was pissed at the unwanted invasion, ready to rip into them like a starving child at a roast beef dinner. What the fuck.
Catching Reagan before she could fall off his lap, his hands held securely onto by her hips, keeping her tightly locked in his lap. Not only did he not want Reagan to get off of him for obvious reasons, but whoever the fuck had opened the door on them made it cold, and Gabriel was not keen on the idea of having a cold hard on. In fact, he was rather keen on the idea of whoever it was to leave and pretend they had just not seen anything. But, of course, God hated Gabriel for many reasons, the most of it probably being because he often dabbled in at least all of the Seven Deadly Sins. Even now, he was trying to get his lust on with Ray, but no, God was trying to save him or some shit. So what did that fucker do? Sent in Isadora Fucking Stratton. Of course it was her. The Holier Than Thou special commando force. The Killer of Good Times and the best goddamn Fun Suck ever created. She was worse than Satan at this point. At least he knew how to have a good time.
?Goddamnit,? he muttered, peeking over Ray's bare shoulder, his hands still firmly holding onto her hips. Stratton looked like a raging bull. All that was missing was the nose ring and she'd be set for life. Gabriel was supremely unhappy about the situation right now. There was a half naked girl in his lap willing to put her hands down his pants, and he was looking at Stratton. There was something extremely wrong with this picture and Gabriel hoped to God that Stratton might just... Evaporate into thin air and never bother him again. Before this point, he had never had a problem with the girl. Yeah, okay, she nagged him a lot about his duties, but did he really give a fuck? No, no he did not. There were bigger things to deal with than her. She didn't matter and she sure as hell didn't matter now. She was beginning to just annoy the shit out of him.
This was ridiculous. One night. That's all he wanted.
One goddamned night!
Instead he got Stratton filling up the doorway like an oversized and extremely angry looking yak. Fuck his entire life.
?God! A little privacy, Stratton?? he shot at her, still peeking over Reagan's shoulder and trying not to think about how good her chest felt against him. ?Get out of here!? If anything, he hoped he sounded like he was protecting his girlfriend's honor and dignity. He also hoped that she would, by some miracle, spontaneously combust. It was bad enough that his pants were undone and his shirt was practically nonexistent thanks to Reagan (Gabe didn't blame her), but did she really have to
watch
them get dressed? The obvious answer was, yes of course she did. The moment she turned her back, and Gabe would bolt, taking Reagan with him. He supposed their only saving grace was that Stratton didn't seem to know who Reagan was. If he could manage it, he'd keep it that way, just to keep their relationship a secret. Their own dirty little secret.
?Do you have to fucking watch?? he hissed at her over Reagan's shoulder, his hands creeping up her bare back. ?Just 'cause you're not getting any doesn't mean you're allowed to hang out. This isn't a goddamn peepshow!? he snarled, his eyes narrowed down to what seemed like slits. Frankly, he wouldn't be surprised if smoke was furling out of his nostrils right now, he was so pissed off. Okay, yeah, maybe he did blow off his responsibilities to do this instead. And yes, okay, maybe he hadn't always been the best prefect out there. But really?
Really?
Could she not appreciate a little alone time with someone? Of course she couldn't. Not with her own idiot boyfriend spending more time playing Quidditch than he did playing with her. She'd didn't even know.

If there was anyone Reagan did not want to find her with Gabe, it was probably Isadora Stratton. The Head Girl was notorious among the Dolls, mostly because Shelby wanted to maim her and then cling to Crane again, despite the loud break up the Dolls had suffered from (she said the Dolls because they had spent a few weeks listening to Shelby complain dramatically). To add on to all of this, Ray was not Crane's biggest fan either, and she was vocal about it. The man was married to the Quidditch Pitch, and though Reagan enjoyed the sport, she could not understand the obsession he had with it. It had bewildered her when she found out that Crane and Stratton had gotten together. Bewildered wasn't the best friend; it was bound to happen, what with him teasing her since their first year, but she had always been sure Stratton ate men like Crane for breakfast.
Some internal death-defying mechanism was apparently off at this point, because Ray did not get up when Stratton yelled at them. In fact, she didn't even make an effort to look like she wanted to get up. Gabriel was safer to look at then Stratton right now. Even if he did look angry enough to kill. And she decided that he was doing a very good job of keeping her from losing her courage and bolting. United front, all that right? More importantly, she wanted to be able to walk with out looking like she'd rather not be walking at all. Despite the level of coolness that the Head Girl had brought with her arrival, Ray was still sitting in Gabe's lap, and her chest was still pressed warmly against him. She could also feel Gabriel's hard on beneath her and it was a little bit uncomfortable, because Ray was smart and so she understood that she was hiding this from Stratton.
If Regan had been facing the Head Girl, her face would have held the impassiveness that she usually reserved for Stratton. It was a look she had perfected sometime ago and she liked to think it made the Head Girl believe Ray didn't care for her at all (it was true. She was an authority figure and one she liked to avoid, but otherwise, she was a pain in her arse). Because she was facing Gabriel, she let the emotions run over her face, moving from utter disbelief to annoyance to desperate hope that she would just leave. She'd forget that they were doing inappropriate things and just leave them alone so maybe they could continue (though she had no idea if that was going to happen. The mood was ruined, a bit). Looking at Gabe also made her feel better about the fact that she was annoyed with the distraction. She wasn't wrong for doing something... sinful. Not that she really even believed in a God, but she had been raised with French Catholics around her manor house and so some of those ideals were instilled in her.
Of course, Ray did not know how pissed off Gabe was. She supposed she understood that being interrupted when her hand was down his pants was a bit to get angry about, but it wasn't like this was only going to happen one time. She also wanted to leave the room with every one of her body parts in tact and she was not sure Gabriel mouthing off to Stratton would be their saving grace. In some twisted way, it kind of funny what he said, but it might have just been because if she wasn't laughing with him, she would attempting to hide further. Even as she thought it, her face was hidden in his shoulder still, deciding that her turned back would be the best insult she could give Stratton with out actually saying something. If she was going to pretend Stratton wasn't there to the fullest extent, she decided she'd at least work at calming Gabriel down. Her hands moved to fiddle with his hair. "Gabriel." She muttered to him. "Don't make her angrier."
She sat up properly then and pursed her lips. "Maybe we should just... get our things, love." She told him. She had left out the fact that she did not plan to leave him when they escaped, and had no real idea if he would even catch on to that. Or if they were even going to escape, because Stratton blocking the door made that seem like a dream rather then a reality. Still looking at only him, she gave him a slow smile, one that slipped past the cool face she was trying to go for, before it was lost in her raised eyebrows.

All of the gears turning within Dora?s mind seemed to have slipped off balance and were grinding mercilessly against the inside of her skull as she tried in vain to figure out how any of this was okay. Whatever happened to Prefects who did their jobs with pride and actually earned the tuition waiver they were granted for their work? It was meant to be an honor when you were selected to wear the badge, but Jackson didn?t seem to understand any of that. To him it was just something to impress people with, something to show off. Maybe that was how he convinced the harlot in his lap to slink off into an empty classroom with him for a little midnight rendezvous. She was sick to death of people who felt that they could abuse their authority, that they were above the rules they were meant to enforce. What had Jackson ever done to earn exemption? He?d done jack shit and he wasn?t exempt, and Dora was just angry enough to make damn sure he wasn?t going to wriggle out of this one like he wriggled out of patrol tonight.
What truly blew her mind was the fact that he had the nerve to say anything to her that was not a sincere apology or maybe some groveling. Of all the selfish people in the world, and the world was full to the brim, Jackson was at the very top of her list at that moment. Not only was he taking advantage of the parents who were paying through the nose to have their children looked after by responsible Prefects, but he was taking advantage of her. That was, quite literally, the most offensive thing that Dora could think of. It was the single worst insult that anyone could ever lob at her, worse than all the names she had ever been called, worse than the snarky rumors or the time that someone had put a newt in her pumpkin juice. He had made a fool out of her and in doing so made everything she was trying to accomplish look foolish as well. She felt the color rising in her cheeks and her vision blurred for a split second before she blinked the hot tears back. There was no way in hell that she was going to cry in front of this jackass, no matter how angry she was.
?You?d better listen to your little girlfriend,? she advised, right hand clenched tightly around her wand. God, she wanted to hex the daylights out of the both of them, but then she?d be a hypocrite. And that was almost as bad as being made a fool of. Knowing that as soon as she turned away, the two of them would make a run for it, she kept her gaze fixed on the two of them. A sadistic sort of satisfaction assuaged her bloodlust temporarily. She knew Jackson was embarrassed. He had been caught red-handed by the one person he didn?t want to be caught by and he wasn?t getting out of it. Perhaps he looked more a fool than Dora did. Clenching her jaw, she stared. She hoped he was good and embarrassed. Wondering if it would be improper for the Head Girl to tell the whole sordid story tomorrow morning at breakfast, she tapped her foot impatiently. Might as well put on a bit of a show while she was at it.
She shook her head in disbelief, glaring daggers at the two of them. The girl was certainly taking her sweet time getting up. Did she really think she could keep her identity a secret that way? ?You?re going to have to show your face at some point,? she snapped. ?I?d say the mystery?s pretty much gone anyway, wouldn?t you?? Spitting venom at them was really the only way she could keep herself from bursting into flames. ?And really, Jackson, in what world do you think this would?ve been acceptable? I cannot wrap my head around it. What could you have been thinking?? she practically hissed. Of course she?d done her fair share of stupid things, but she always had a sense of responsibility and propriety, no matter the circumstances.
How in the world was it possible to simply ignore the rest of the world? She imagined it was quite a blessing to possess that ability, but her sense of wonder was only slightly overshadowed by her barely contained desire to see Jackson hanged for his crimes.

Gabriel seethed internally, only mildly wondering how he hadn't burst into flames and left both himself and Ray in a pile of ash before the murderous Head Yak. His teeth were clenched tight and his jaw was set in a hard line as he had to remind himself that this was not the end of the world. This was not the only time that he and Reagan would get together, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. Nonetheless, Stratton had left a lasting impact on his play time with Ray as the biggest cock block this side of 90 year old grandmothers who liked to knit and talk about '
The Good Ol' Days
' while receiving a bunion massage.
The Slytherin had a hard time of keeping his snarky reply clamped tightly in his mouth. So badly did he want to snap back at Stratton, lash out with his words and make her sorry for ever thinking he could be whipped around just because he was her subordinate. Just because the rest of the male population was scared of Stratton didn't mean that Gabe was. Let's face it, Stratton was no Theo Roman. With that in mind, Gabe felt his lip curl back over his teeth in a half snarl half smirk. However, even as Gabriel rebelled against the Head Girl with his body language and expressions, there was no getting out of the fact that he was caught red handed and there would be no getting out of this. Perhaps it was because his brain was still foggy in his lust filled haze, but no quick witted plan came to him. It seemed he'd not be able to snake his way out of this.
While Ray's words resonated with Gabriel as the right thing to do, it was hard for him to comply. Usually, Gabriel was the picture of detached and emotionless, but now, not only did he feel trapped and cornered, he felt angry and embarrassed. He'd never been caught with his pants down like this, let alone literally. Gritting his teeth, and resigning himself that the jig was up, Gabriel shifted under Ray with his hands still on her back, pressing her body against his as though hoping they could stick themselves together and prevent Stratton from seeing Ray. Unfortunately (even in this world of magic full of sticking spells), Gabriel knew that this was not going to happen.
Sliding his hands down to her hips, he pushed her gently off his lap and stood up, one hand coming to rest at his undone pants, keeping them together while his other hand found itself around Ray's waist, trying to keep her identity hidden for as long as possible, all the while keep his eyes locked on Stratton's. He may have been caught with his pants down, but there was no way he wasn't going to try and stare her down first. One handed, Gabriel buttoned his pants back up and pulled his torn shirt more securely over his shoulders, still glaring.
?I was thinking I'd have more time before you got lonely and had to come find me,? he snapped over Ray's shoulder. He wasn't sure what her plan was, nor did he know what she might want him to do, so he was doing everything by the fly. Maybe he could piss Stratton off enough that she'd storm off to get a teacher or something. That would then at least be enough time for him to shoo Reagan along to the common room before coming back and taking the full brunt of the Head Girl's rage.
?Some of us have to do everything ourselves and don't have lowly Prefects to shunt off the shit we don't want to do, Stratton,? he hissed, reaching behind him one handed and groping for his black Prefect's robes off the chair while doing his best to to keep Reagan pressed against him. Carefully, Gabe draped his cloak over Reagan's bare shoulders to save her the trouble of trying to find her shirt in the dark while topless. And you know, in front of an audience that was not her boyfriend. Gabriel shot another glare at Stratton, knowing full well that she was enjoying every moment of his displeasure at being caught and then told what to do.

It was simply amazing to Dora that Jackson was a) still attempting to hide the girl?s face, and b) still trying to justify his actions and make her out to be the villain. There was no question as to who was in the wrong in this particular scenario and it sure as hell wasn?t Dora. The fact that she?d only come looking for him in order to make sure he was doing his job made his last comment absolutely incendiary. ?Is that supposed to be a joke or something?? she scoffed incredulously. ?Last I checked the only person actually doing their job here was me. Unless Dumbledore changed our duties round and didn?t alert me, I don?t remember heavy petting being part of patrol duty.? This was funny. It really was. So ridiculous that she couldn?t help but laugh. So she did.
Barking out a mirthless laugh, she raised a hand to her forehead as if trying to keep her skull from exploding. She wasn?t inherently biased against heavy petting, but there was something skeevy about someone participating in the act in a classroom. In chairs that other people had to sit in. She wondered how many times this had happened before and shuddered to think that she herself may once have sat in something invisible but disgusting. Goddamn. In addition to completely shirking his duty and putting the administration at risk for accusations of negligence, he had possibly performed a sex act in a chair that Dora may have sat in. It was all too much for her very angry and slightly irrational brain to handle. And then she saw the girl?s face.
Luckily, the Head Girl?s jaw tightened instead of dropping at the sight of Reagan D?Aramitz. Of course it would be one of those horrible girls from Shelby Blair?s ridiculous little gang. No doubt this one was personally responsible for a few of the unkind rumors about Dora to come out of their little weekly gossip sessions. She wasn?t feeling particularly kindly toward the girl before, but now she wanted nothing more than the rip her magically straightened hair out of her presumably empty head. ?I thought Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart,? she said disdainfully. ?I wonder if the rest of the Dolls know you?re fooling around with the Slytherin Prefect. Bunch of Gryffindors won?t be happy about that, will they??
Every word that came out of Dora?s mouth was venomous, but she couldn?t keep a note of sick glee out of her voice, no matter how much she tried. It wasn?t right to take joy in others? suffering, but the schadenfreude here was too much to bear. She wasn?t even really sure what course of action to take. She couldn?t leave them to get a professor or they?d book it out of there as soon as she turned her back.
All she wanted was justice. Like a shark that had smelled blood, her mind was fixed on that one thing. These two had to pay. Pay for making her look stupid, pay for taking advantage of her, pay for not doing what others trusted them to do, pay for being anything but contrite. Sadly, Dora didn?t have the power to make them pay the way she wanted to. Her authority didn?t extend far enough to make them truly sorry. ?You both have detention with Filch for two months and it?s 200 points each from Slytherin and Ravenclaw,? she decided joylessly. It wasn?t enough.

Gabe's face pulled into a disbelieving incredulous look. Rather like it was accidentally Christmas when it was least expected. Soon, his face was pulled into a full blown smile. True, the girl had just called his girlfriend stupid, threatened them with detention with Filch, deducted several hundred points from each of their houses and also was sure to out their secret relationship with each other. But Gabriel was suddenly struck with a brilliant idea. She had taken points away from not only himself but also Reagan. She took points away from someone who could just... reaward them. That little bit seemed to burn the lustful fog from his sexual charged brain and he could feel the cogs turning, formulating a plan.
Full out laughing by now, Gabe turned his head to Ray and gave her a wide reassuring smile. He would take care of this. Turning back to Stratton, Gabe have her his signature crooked smile, clearly demonstrating that he knew something she didn't.
?No,? he said point blank. ?I don't suppose you'd take this opportunity to resend our punishment?? Not waiting for her to respond, (Gabe didn't want her to resend squat. He wanted to humiliate and make a fool out of her as much as he could.) he turned to Ray, his tone light and funny, but very obviously sarcastic, he said, ?Two-hundred points to Ravenclaw for nearly giving me a hand job. Three-hundred next time if you succeed!? His face was bright and happy but it hardly reached his green eyes which were cold and humorless.
The Prefect rounded back on Stratton, all mirth in his face and tone lost. ?Since we're all overreacting and acting like idiots here, how about three-hundred points from Gryffindor for interrupting my hand job, threatening students and a fellow student official, and also for insulting the intelligence level of Miss D'Aramitz who could eat you up and spit you out.? Here, he paused in mock thought, bringing his hand up to his chin. ?Not to mention condoning the purchase and consumption of illegal substances at a school sponsored event. How many people were at the Quidditch Practice, again? I'm sure Professor Snape would love to know that the Captain of Gryffindor Quidditch and the Head Girl, also a Gryffindor and his girlfriend, are sanctioning the use of alcohol.? He had not spoke this much in a long time. He could feel his voice starting to strain from how furiously he worked his voice.
?Miss D'Aramitz and I are among the top students in our year. Our records are clean.? The muscles in his cheeks visibly pulsed. ?What about you, Stratton? You have a known grudge against Miss D'Aramitz, and by the looks of it, you'd do anything to get her in trouble. So who's in more trouble here? The Head Girl who likes to give vodka out at Quidditch practice and abuse her powers, or two of the top students who made a small error in judgment just as every other student here does??
Gabriel stopped talking, letting his veiled threat really sink into Stratton's rage filled mind. This is how it would be. She would back the fuck off, and they would reach some sort of compromise.
?No point deductions, and I won't let slip to my Head of House about your less than... Headly activities.? To Gabriel, this seemed like a pretty sweet deal. Snape was far more likely to overlook the discretion of his own Slytherin Prefect with no prior record and near academic perfection in favor for going after a delinquent Gryffindor and his little Head Girl girlfriend. However, Gabriel knew that Stratton wouldn't give up without some kind of justice. She was the type of female that needed to be muzzled. Permanently.
?I'll do whatever you want me to do for the Yule Ball and one week of detention.? Eh, he'd give Stratton up anyway when it was most convenient to him. He also knew that Stratton wouldn't be able to keep her big mouth shut, and by this time tomorrow, the entire school would know that the Slytherin Prefect (the straight one) was dating one of the Rich Bitches of Hogwarts. Once that happened, Gabriel wouldn't feel the least bit bad or guilty about turning over on her. In fact, he was already looking forward to it.
?C'mon, Ray...,? he said, holding out his hand. ?I'll walk you back to your common room once Stratton here removes herself from the doorway.?
